Almost 100 years after the repeal of prohibition, cannabis was legalized in Michigan. Right after the 1933 repeal, a liquor store opened in Northport New York. We wanted a name for business that had nothing to do with cannabis, and we loved the thin connection to our Northport.
We wanted to create something that fit it with the community and felt like it had been here for years. Even down to the choice of refurbishing a 50 year old pole barn that we moved a mile to its current site at 776 N Mill St., in Northport Michigan.
